BUGSENG at IEEE ITSC 2026 in Naples

BUGSENG will take part in the 2026 IEEE International Conference on Intelligent Transportation Systems, taking place in Naples, from 15 to 18 September 2026. IEEE ITSC is the annual flagship conference of the IEEE Intelligent Transportation Systems Society and brings together researchers, engineers, practitioners, students, industry, universities, and government agencies to discuss advances in Intelligent Transportation Systems.

The Industry Track is dedicated to companies, technology providers, and innovators presenting real-world solutions, deployed systems, and industry-driven advancements in intelligent transportation technologies. As part of the Industry Track, BUGSENG will present a contribution developed together with Solid Sands.

Continuous Qualification of C/C++ Toolchains: An Industrial Architecture Applied to Intelligent Transportation Systems

The talk addresses a growing challenge for software-defined transportation systems: keeping qualification evidence valid as C and C++ software, compilers, libraries, build configurations, and toolchain assumptions evolve. The proposed architecture treats qualification as a monitored engineering envelope rather than a one-time certificate, supporting targeted requalification, release gating, and audit-ready evidence updates when relevant changes occur.

The presentation will show how technologies from BUGSENG and Solid Sands can be combined into an industrial architecture for Continuous Qualification, with ECLAIR Code Scout, ECLAIR CerTran, Solid Sands SuperTest, Solid Sands SuperGuard, and an ECLAIR Safety Sentinel layer for monitoring, change assessment, and evidence orchestration.
