ECLAIR new release 3.14.0: now available

BUGSENG is excited to announce the release of ECLAIR 3.14.0! Available now on Mantis.

For this release we greatly focused on the usability of the tool and on tasks automation. We took our time to bring it to you to make sure it also came with support for the latest versions of the MISRA standards, the last one having being released just a month ago.

Release Highlights

• Support for MISRA C:2023, MISRA C:2025, and MISRA C++:2023
• A much simplified GUI, with a dedicated advanced mode for expert users
• A brand new lightweight frontend, “eclairit”, enabling basic project analysis in minutes
• Fully-automatic toolchain detection and autoconfiguration for C/C++ compilers — ZERO manual setup required
• New ECLAIR Independence Checker, that automatically verifies architectural constraints such as independence, isolation, segregation, and freedom from interference.

The ECLAIR Suite also welcomes ECLAIR Code Scout. This brand new add-on automatically identifies which parts of a library are used in a project. This is crucial for precise and timely qualification of modern C++ code.
